Pastor Dave moved to Fort Wayne in the summer of 2005 with his wife, Sally and three children, Gennea, Jordan, and Ellie. He originally received his BA in Social Work from Concordia University of Nebraska in 1985 and his M.Div. from Concordia Theological Seminary in 2009 at which time he was ordained and installed as the Associate Pastor of New Life Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. His current position is Pastor of Care and Counsel. More recently, through the ministry of his church he has been reaching out to those individuals society considers the least, the last and the lost. In doing so Pastor Dave finds himself ministering to individuals who live in area motels and trailer courts, those considered homeless, men and women in jail along with their families. Pastor Dave’s passion has always been to serve others that they may see and feel the true love of Jesus and His forgiveness. The focus is all about increasing the Kingdom of God.

Rev. James Keller and his family began work with the Burmese in 1998 while he was a student at Concordia Theological Seminary and serving at his fieldwork site, New Life Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. Visiting Asian markets, meeting Burmese refugees, and learning Burmese from a Buddhist monk were all experiences that prepared him for his vicarage and call to New Life to work among the nearly 6,000 Burmese who live in Fort Wayne. Pastor James was ordained in June 2001, and in June 2002 he began a separate bilingual worship service for the Burmese. Up to that time, the Burmese had attended the New Life worship service. Pastor James has an unpaid call to New Life Lutheran Church and is deployed to Lutheran Agency for Missions to Burmese (LAMB). Since March 2013, Pastor James Keller also serves as Senior Pastor of New Life Lutheran Church. Pastor James is married to Annette, and their missionary family includes: Gwen, Peter, Felicia, Parker, MaryJane, Glory, Jessica, Elizabeth and Anna.
